EHAI joined the rest of the world on December 1st, 2020 to show support for people living with HIV and to create awareness that HIV testing is imperative and AIDS can only be defeated together.
The theme for the 2020 World AIDS Day is Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility.
EHAI’s state offices collaborated with organizations like National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS), Abia State Ministry of Health and Key Population Community Based Organizations (CBOS) to create awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention via road walks and to carry out free HIV testings.
