Equitable Health Access Initiative is collaborating with the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board (LSTMB) to improve health indices in Lagos State. In line with this, Equilabs Foundation, one of EHAI’s social enterprise interventions has conducted medical laboratory screening outreaches for four cohorts of LSTMB’s trainees from March through August, 2019.
EHAI is exploring possible areas of collaboration with the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board in the areas of research, capacity building and skills development for Traditional Medicine Practitioners (TMPs) registered with LSTMB in a bid to improve public health indices among grassroots people in Lagos State because social impact begins at the grassroots.
